Frequently Asked Questions

Questions people ask before reaching out

If yours isn't here, Grace answers her own email - write to her directly and she'll get back to you personally.

Traditional therapy works through the thinking, rational brain. Grace's method, Emotional Brain Therapy (EBT), works through the emotional brain instead - where trauma and stuck feelings actually get stored. She's been practicing this approach for over 25 years, long before it became "the new science of love."

Retreats are private pay - there's no insurance claim, no diagnosis code, and no record beyond you and Grace. For 1:1 coaching, some insurance providers do cover it; it's worth checking with yours directly.

It's extremely common for one partner to be more hesitant than the other. There's no pressure to perform or believe in anything going in - just a willingness to show up. Grace's direct, down-to-earth approach tends to win over skeptics as easily as it does devoted fans.

No. The Couples Retreat is built around private, one-on-one exercises between you and your partner, not group sharing or large-format workshops. Nothing about the weekend is designed to put you on the spot in front of other couples.

No. Grace welcomes people of all faiths and of none, and doesn't teach from any one religious tradition.

Payment plans are available for retreats, and if finances are a genuine barrier, Grace offers a limited number of partial scholarships - just email her directly to ask.

Your tuition is refunded if you don't feel the weekend delivered real value, claimed within 24 hours of the retreat ending. That said, it's a guarantee of value, not a guarantee that any specific relationship outcome will happen.

Yes - most sessions happen over FaceTime, WhatsApp, or Google Meet. In-person sessions are also available at Grace's St. Catharines office if you prefer.

Yes. Family Coaching covers parent-child and sibling relationships at the same rate as other 1:1 coaching, for anyone navigating a family relationship that needs the same kind of honest, one-on-one work.

As a general guide: retreats suit couples in crisis or wanting an intensive reset in a short window, while coaching suits ongoing work at your own pace, or a single relationship issue you want to work through without waiting for the next retreat date. If you're not sure, a free call with Grace is the fastest way to figure out which fits.
